Join us for a social ritual inspired by plant medicine!
Kava (Piper methysticum) is a sacred plant to the Pacific Islanders.
For thousands of years, the root has been used in ceremonies and
revered for its ability to relax the nervous system, elevate the mood,
sharpen mental clarity, and ground into the body.
This circle is an invitation for those who are kava-curious or already
kava-lovers to join in community to connect with this plant and
experience its effects.
This ritual offering will include
The cultural history and traditional uses of kava in the Pacific Islands
The plant virtues and pharmacology that makes it an effective remedy
The opportunity to taste and experience different preparations of
kava, from the traditional root infusion to the tincture
A guided meditation
This is a 2 hour social ritual.
*You are invited to bring an offering to the altar, notebooks, mugs, etc.
*Kava may cause mild sedation
*Participants must be 18+
