Summer brings long days, garden abundance, and plenty of time outdoors—but it also comes with sunburn, bug bites, heat exhaustion, rashes, and seasonal allergies. In this practical and plant-filled workshop, herbalist Alison Magill will explore herbs that help support the body through the challenges of summer. Learn about soothing skin herbs like calendula, plantain, and lavender; cooling herbs such as hibiscus and elderflower; and natural approaches for easing hay fever and summer irritation.
Participants will learn how these herbs are traditionally used and how to use simple remedies including teas, infused oils, sprays, salves, and cooling herbal drinks. Whether you are an experienced plant lover or just beginning your herbal journey, this class will offer practical skills for building a simple summer herbal toolkit.
Tickets are $30 for Four Bodies Members and $35 for General Public.
